Is it possible to submit a project that’s still in development?
Maker Faire Caserta is dedicated to concrete and demonstrable projects. Therefore, the idea must be at least in the prototype or advanced development stage. If the project is not yet completed at the time of application, it’s important to clearly indicate this and provide materials (images, renderings, technical descriptions) that allow us to understand its current status and what will actually be presented during the event
If I have multiple projects or activities, how should I proceed?
Each project or activity must be submitted as a separate application. This allows the Organizer to properly evaluate each proposal and give greater visibility to individual projects on the official website and in Maker Faire Caserta communication materials.
Is the application individual or can it be submitted by a team?
Applications can be submitted by individual makers, groups, or teams. In any case, an adult contact person must be indicated, who will be the official contact with the Organizer. All team members must be listed on the project sheet.
Can FabLabs, schools, or associations participate?
Yes. FabLabs, schools, associations, and other organizations can submit one or more projects for which they own the rights. Individual makers or teams may also submit independent applications related to these organizations, while maintaining proper attribution of the projects.
Are minors allowed to participate?
Yes, but the application must be submitted by an adult. The minor maker may be listed as the project’s author and must be accompanied by a parent or authorized adult guardian for the entire duration of the event.
Are there discounts for those arriving from outside the area?
The organization is working to establish agreements with accommodations, restaurants, and businesses in the Maddaloni area and surrounding areas. Any discounts will be communicated to accepted participants as soon as they are finalized. Travel, food, and lodging expenses are the responsibility of the participants.
Is it possible to sell products or services during the Maker Faire?
Direct sales of products or services are permitted only to authorized commercial exhibitors. Makers may not make sales during the event.
However, it is permitted to collect contacts or expressions of interest for future collaborations or sales, provided there are no price indications, signage, or behaviors that suggest direct selling
Can workshops or labs be financed?

What type of space and equipment are provided?
Accepted makers will be assigned an exhibition space with basic equipment, subject to logistical availability. Any special needs must be indicated during the application process and are not guaranteed.
Is attendance mandatory for the entire duration of the event?
Yes, makers are required to be present for the entire duration of the event. Any special needs must be communicated promptly to the Organizer to ensure proper management of the space.
How is the information provided during the application process used?
Information marked as public, if accepted, may be published on the official website and other communication channels of Maker Faire Caserta 2026. All personal and contact information will be processed exclusively for organizational purposes and in compliance with current privacy legislation.
How can I increase my chances of being selected?
A clear, complete, and well-documented application significantly increases the chances of selection. It is recommended that you accurately describe your project, indicate what will be shown to the public, and attach images, videos, or links useful for evaluation.
What happens if the accepted project changes from the original application?
Any significant changes to the project submitted during the application process must be promptly communicated to the Organizer, who reserves the right to evaluate its compatibility with the event and available spaces.
